Who Am I?

I’m Terrion Evans, a marketing and media student focused on how brands create meaningful connections across cultures, platforms, and experiences. My interest in marketing comes from a curiosity about how people engage with stories—why certain brands resonate, and how those connections scale globally.

Over time, that curiosity has turned into hands-on experience across branding, leadership, and international marketing strategy. I approach marketing as both a creative and analytical discipline, where storytelling and data work together to shape how organizations communicate.

My experience has been shaped by leadership and building from the ground up. As Director of Creative Services, I’ve worked at the intersection of branding and organizational strategy—restructuring internal systems, developing communication frameworks, and leading creative direction across multiple teams.

Beyond that, I’ve taken on roles that required both initiative and adaptability, from reactivating the American Marketing Association chapter to contributing to executive leadership within student organizations. These experiences have taught me how to lead, collaborate, and execute ideas that go beyond theory.

I’ve also explored marketing from a global perspective, including developing international activation strategies through my work with the San Francisco 49ers. That experience deepened my understanding of how brands operate across different markets and audiences.

A major part of my development is centered on building a global perspective. Through upcoming study abroad experiences in Amsterdam and London, as well as my involvement with the Cannes Film Festival, I am intentionally exploring how culture, media, and business intersect in different parts of the world.

I’m particularly interested in how global brands maintain a consistent identity while adapting to local audiences. These experiences are helping me better understand not just marketing strategy, but the cultural context that shapes how people engage with brands.

Looking ahead, I’m interested in opportunities where I can contribute to brand strategy, marketing innovation, and customer experience—particularly within organizations that operate on a global scale.

My goal is to continue developing as a marketer who can bridge creativity and strategy, bringing a thoughtful, globally-informed perspective to the way brands connect with people.
